Set the foundation for this journey by exploring what trauma *actually* is, learn how the stress cycle shows up in your body & identify the 1-2 main pathways it takes in your life! 

week 2

Yes, you know it.. those boots are made for walking — straight into the polyvagal theory and the autonomic ladder. When we know what's happening inside from a scientific perspective, self-compassion comes so much easier. Main Pathway(s): Freeze & Shutdown.

ridin' the waves

Life is full of ups and downs. Learn to ride the waves by exploring neuroception, and putting into practice your ability to move fluidly up and down the autonomic ladder. Main Pathway: People-pleasing (Fawn). 

week 4

sinking into stillness

Even cowgirls need their rest. A week of integration — an opportunity to sink into stillness and let your body catch up on everything you've learned so far.

And she's back! No more Nervous System theory, we're galloping straight towards strong emotions like Joy and Anger. Your capacity to feel one is your capacity to feel the other. We lean into co-regulation, bc as important as it is to cultivate Self-leadership.. true healing happens in community. Main Pathway: Fight.

week 6

out on the range

As a recovering avoidant. this week might be my favorite. When we feel safe in our bodies, we no longer need to run away. We're going heavy on co-regulation and conscious communication out on the range. Main pathway: Flight.
